We are a family run local restaurant established since 2001. Our Daily Menu changes according to seasonal product availability which are locally sourced. Chorizo, Tortilla, Gambas and Jamon are regularly on the menu alongside Crab, Oysters, Sea Bass , Game Pie, Sirloin Steaks among others
Wine Tasting
On Wine Tasting Nights we provide a culinary experience for our customers with a 4 Course Dinner on which the food is matched with wine from all over the world.

Fantastic local reasonable restaurant
I would definitly recommend Rick's Cafe, and I think it just pushes into the great category. It is a friendly local restaurant cooking English style food in a simple but effective way. By concentrating on classics and one or tow touches rather than over embelishing every dish the results are pure and very tasty. Perfect for a relaxed but pleasant evening.

Return trip even worse
Feeling bad about leaving a so-so review about Rics I decided to go back (thats dedication for you !). I went for breakfast this time. Well, It seems Ric has decided to compete with the local cheap cafes, a GOOD idea, and the ambience there is certainly better, even the prices are comparible. The problem is the breakfast staff have no idea of what they are doing, the food doesnt have any edge on the competition, bread was cheap sliced white, eggs not free range, we even had to ASK for salt and pepper. The first time the coffee was cold (but very good) and had suger already added ! The second time they didnt have any tomatoes (even though there is a Tescos literally across the road). The staff played a local radio station while sitting around discussing their private lives. The waitress didnt even know that they had herbal teas (we had to show her!). Looks like Ric has lost his marbles altogether! Surely a restaurant like Rics can do better than this ?

Lots of potential here !
Ricks is curious, starting out nearly a decade ago now Ricks was EXCELLENT ! Duck confit was superb, service equally good. But they have lost their way a little, Staff now not very nice, food is up and down like a yo-yo. I want to give this restaurant a better review, because i think there is definately a 'soul' behind it, I just think Rick needs to talk to his staff. Tooting NEEDS this restaurant, and on a good night you will get great food, but Ive had some rather dissapointing encounters there recently and actually havent been back for over a year now. So maybe its improved? I hope so !!
