Do not buy
Next day delivery? Well I had to chase them for four weeks. They did string me along with promises and excuses. Finally got the bike. Looked okay but needed assembly (a lot), which I was not aware off when ordering. Later I found on CapitalCycles website a page explaining the assembly but on order page containing details of bike there was no mention of assembly of brakes, lights, front wheel, mud guards, pedals etc. The instructions were translated from polish into english and pretty useless (unless you are a pro and have assembled bikes before you will be lost!). Bike had to be taken to nearest bike shop (and I am an DIY enthusiast). The packaging was not great. Mud guard was wedged into spokes and could hardly be removed (some spokes were bent). The enamel on frame seems to be soft and scratches very easily (cheap make). After cycling once the front tyre seems to be leaking air and I need to pump the tyre each time I want to use it. Light is made of cheap plastic. I agree with above comment...only illusion of being a decent product, website is misleading and the customer service is pretty bad!

What a breath of fresh air - a responsive, caring, customer focussed company, who believe in very high levels of customer service. Just bought a Ladies Hybrid bike for wifey (she complained about bikes with straight handlebars causing aching wrists) now all she wants to do is go cycling. Well done, and thanks for all your post sale help. Good luck with the shop, will certainly recommend to friends.

Value for money - well recommended
I just love my new bicycle (modern ladies Dutch) - beaufitully stylish, easy to assemble, a joy to ride, totally affordable and superb customer care...ticked all the boxes, quite refreshing.

PERFECT bikes, EXCELLENT value
The other comment written here is total rubbish! These bikes are made in Europe, well built and are fantastic value for money. Just go onto their site - capitalcycles.co.uk and see the customers' reviews for yourself. I cycle mine 70 miles a week from Fulham to Mayfair and it has NEVER let me down. But as i say, don't just believe me, see what everyone else says on the site AND on their ebay feedback page!

Do not buy
Both myself and my friend bought bikes form Capitol and while they are cheap, they are still not worth the price! They are made in China, and have only and illusion of being a decent product. Buy a second hand bike from ebay.
