Hurst Dene Guest House together with our luxury self-catering apartments, is the perfect place to stay and enjoy the exciting city of Swansea and the beautiful Gower Peninsula. We offer a very high standard of accommodation and customer care and welcome our guests to a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Hurstdene is the ideal base for our guest to enjoy everything that the vibrant city of Swansea has to offer. You are never far away from the idyllic beaches, the exciting SA1 area and Swansea's large shopping centre. The Gower Peninsula, Britain's first area of Outstanding Beauty awaits and is the perfect place to enjoy and explore!

Hurst Dene is furnished to a very high standard with the majority of the rooms offering en suite facilities. All rooms have Wi-fi enabled broadband, provided at no extra cost, and include a colour TV and welcome tray, with tea and coffee making facilities. We also have available hairdryers and ironing facilities and for our younger guests, we are able to provide cots and highchairs (available upon request).

Breakfast is served in the homely dining room from 7am-10am Monday to Sunday and we are happy to offer our guests with a wide choice of cereals, fruit and fresh orange juice. Follow this with our freshly cooked full English breakfast (vegetarian option available) which is served with toast, tea and coffee.

Self catering Apartments

We also offer Luxury Self Catering Apartments. These recently renovated apartments are a true home from home experience. The self catering apartments offer en suite facilities with a fully fitted kitchen, dining area, lounge and bedroom with TV and wireless Internet access.

A daily cleaning service and complimentary tea and coffee is provided, and daily local newspapers are available at reception.

Hurst Dene is within easy walking distance of 3 beautiful parks - Brynmill, Cwmdonkin and Singleton. All three parks provide an oasis in a vibrant city, and are an ideal place to enjoy a leisurely stroll or to let the kids play and burn off some of that energy!

If you want to explore the City Centre, travelling from Hurst Dene couldn't be easier. An excellent bus service operates at regular and convenient times and provides direct routes to the city centre as well as both bus and railway stations. From here, the outstanding beauty of the Gower and Mumbles is just a bus ride away.

Location

The Hurst Dene Hotel is situated on the A4118, just one mile from the City Centre, Rail and Bus Stations, The Marina, Grand Theatre, Taliesin, University and St. Helens Rugby and Cricket Ground. We are also very fortunate to be within easy walking distance of Swansea's three most beautiful parks: Singleton, Brynmill and Cwmdonkin.

We offer easy access to the City Centre, with a frequent bus service. HurstDene is an excellent base for those wishing to experience the outstanding beauty of the Gower Peninsular and Mumbles, and also within half a mile of the birthplace of Dylan Thomas.

The famous Swansea Market is only a bus ride away, taste local products and seafood such as cockles and laverbread.
