Disappointing

I was really looking forward to trying a meal at La Vita but was left with an empty stomach, no apology and huge disappointment. My partner had booked us a table for 8.15 last Friday night just the thing after a long week of work. When we walked in it was busy there was no welcome we managed to get the attention of the chef who said there was no free table in spite of our reservation and could we come back in 20 mins. We decided to give him and the cafe the benefit of the doubt and duly returned after the said time only to be told there was still no table and no further apology just a half hearted shrug and a mutter that it could be another 15-30 minutes, needless to say, we left and won't be returning. Why offer to reserve a table when you can't deliver better to be honest than to let people down when you are trying to build a new business! It may have been busy but it won't last if they let people down the way we were PS False star rating as there was no zero option.
