Buffalo is one of the coolest bars in Cardiff, good music, good selection of draught beers including Franziskaner weissbier (at least last time I was there) and bottled beers (imported lager and some ales). Great in the summer as you can chill out in the beer garden, but it can get a bit smoky since the ban.Does get busy and sometimes the trip downstairs to the toilet can be treacherous (as can the toilets themselves), but if you get there early and grab a comfy seat it's a nice atmospheric place to have a drink with friends.

Bar, kitchen, cocktails & music. Buffalo is unlike any other club in Cardiff, it's separated into 3 sections, the beer garden, down stairs area and upstairs night club and live music area. It is a music focused venue and offers quite a lot of unique styles, many new local bands get to perform as well as some of the finest established acts from around the world. Inside cutting edge design can be found through out the whole of this venue, some people call it weird, but that's maybe because Buffalo has gone for something a little more adventurous than the usual plain disco lights and black sofas. It's also open really late and is a great place to end your night or grab a quick snack, the food is freshly prepared Mediterranean and North African dishes, but it usually changes to give the place more variety. I will defiantly be coming back to this bar to check out some new cool music and get to know this place even more.
