Description:The Glenbrook Inn, or "The Glenny" as it is often referred to, on Dobbins Road off the A4231 Wenvoe to Sully link road is a good Pub.A Freehouse pub, the establishment is divided into two, one half used as a general bar and skittle alley, and the other side is a quiet lounge and dining room. The pub is especially popular with those seeking home cooking at a reasonable price. There is a large car park available, and in the summer it is often very busy. The pub inside is clean and nicely decorated, the general bar has a number of large plasma screens and even some small tv's on the bar pumps. TV sport is popular the Function room has a large drop down screen where other sport channels are viewed. The view from the windows is the beer garden, gardens and childrens play area.On the bar are Carling, Glenbrook Super Chiled Lager, Amstel, Heineken and Stella. Theree is Rev James and Yacchy Da ales, John Smiths, Bass and Brains beers, the beer and lager is good. The food here is also excellent, and does well for the pub. Try the Steak Pie and Rev James ale meal, with chips, veg and gravy, it is one of the best pie meals around! The staff were friendly! The toilets can be found via a central foyer, which also links the two bar areas and beer garden.
