Vulcan Lodge Cottages have been created by the imaginative conversion of an 18th century inn and each cottage takes its name from a previous owner. The conversion has been sensitively undertaken to preserve and enhance the best features of the old inn while offering all of the luxury fittings and facilities the discerning visitor of today has come to expect of 4 star accommodation (grading pending). Spacious, full of character and with a high specification which brings luxury and style, they can be booked singly or together for larger groups (total capacity 25 persons).

Separate from the cottages but in the same building are two further large double ensuite bedrooms with their own TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. They have their own access from the car park and can be booked either on a bed and breakfast basis with breakfast taken at the Halt Café, or combined with a cottage booking to provide additional sleeping accommodation.
