About

  • Small friendly B&B. Ideal for exploring Snowdonia

Tregarth Homestay Bed and Breakfast

A warm welcome awaits you at Tregarth Homestay Bed and Breakfast. Situated at the entrance to the beautiful Ogwen Valley in the foothills of Snowdonia, North Wales. The elevated setting affords beautiful views of the mountains, the Menai Straight, Anglesey and Puffin Island. Breakfast is served in our breakfast/kitchen, or on our sun terrace if weather permits. We have a varied menu, and breakfast is freshly cooked whilst you wait. We use local produce wherever possible. Whether you're on holiday or away on business, we cater for both couples and singles. One double bedroom has an en-suite shower room, the other two rooms (one single and one twin) have private bath/shower rooms, all with high pressure showers. All rooms have electric blankets in the beds and flat screen TV's. There is also a cosy guest lounge with TV, and a wide selection of brochures, maps and books. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Tea/coffee making and laundry facilities are also provided. All of the rooms boast mountain views. Kathleen and Peter Coleman have been in the hospitality business since 1996. They first experienced the 'homestay' concept in Australia and New Zealand. "The idea is to welcome guests into our home as friends and be available to spend time with them if they so wish". It is ideally situated, being in a quiet rural location on the edge of a small village, yet just two miles from the A55 Expressway and the A5 and 4 miles from Bangor. There is something for everyone within easy reach! A host of outdoor activities can be experienced near Tregarth, from gentle walking to mountaineering and water sports. There are a number of footpaths and cycle tracks on our doorstep. Packed lunches available at £5. Week-ends, July, August and Bank holidays minimum stay 2 nights

Testimonials

Tina Mendolia We had a lovely stay at Tregarth Homestay B&B - Peter and Kath were so welcoming - from the moment I read the directions that Peter had emailed I knew it was going to be good as he had taken the trouble to personalise them from my home. It was home from home very comfortable, clean, and peaceful -with stunning views. I would recommend Tregarth Homestay to anyone looking for a friendly welcoming place in North Wales.26-9-2013
