Brennans has been around in Perth in various forms for years now. To many it's still thought of as 'the back bar in the Windsor' but the reality is that it's been an 'Irish' pub for a good 10 years now, Having said that, it's still a decent spot for a pint. Early evening in particular it's never too busy, the atmosphere is very relaxed for a city centre pub and you'll always get a seat and the comfy sofas in the entrance foyer bit are particularly nice for a bit of an old 'lounge'. (God I'm getting old, I'll be going on about how you can hear yourself speak next!) Actually you can, there's a decent CD jukebox (a rarity these days) but more often or not you have to ask them to turn it up! At weekends they usually have some decent bands on (one of the few places in Perth that still do!) Beer is the usual Irish pub fare, Guinness, more Guinness, various lagers etc. Overall it's a nice enough place for a pint or to meet up at the start of an evening.
