Bully Boy Tactics

These builders were employed by my landlord to comply with a Private Rented Housing Panel Repair Order to my home and another with a single lady as tenant. M T Richardson seems to be a good guy but I only ever met him once when he came to look at the job. After that my contact was with Scot Duncan (presumably his foreman) he was in charge as his boss was on holiday. This awful little man had an aggressive attitude from day 1, no flexibility around tenants prior commitments, no forethought as to telling us what was happening when to enable us to clear rooms or protect furnishings etc. This Scot Duncan has also quoted for damp proofing on 4 walls of one room. The surveyor had to point out to him this room only had 2 exterior walls!!! Lack of communication regarding access on his part culminated in Scot Duncan, the Estate Factor and the Landlord all screaming abuse at a single lady to try and intimidate her into leaving a key to her home to allow access when it suited them. They thought there were no witnesses but a gentleman exercising his horse in an adjacent field saw everything (he was so concerned for this lady's safety he rang another neighbour to try and get some help). At the time of writing this, this same lady is 3 days into booked time off to allow access for builders and she has had 1 joiner there for a total of 3 and a half hours! this awful little man will be the downfall of this company.
