Glencloy Farm is a stunning pre 20th century farmhouse. Our home is set in a large formal garden and paddock, home to a host of Scottish wildlife and our not so wild free range chickens. From all aspects of the house we have splendid views of the Glen from rolling hills and mountains down to the sea, its idyllic.
Glencloy Farm Guesthouse is a well located base for exploring Arran. We are close enough to the centre of Brodick for guests to walk into the village, while being on the periphery we enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Marianne, Neil, family and friends extend a warm welcome to guests to staying in their home and will be happy to help if you have any queries, be it where to eat out or where to buy a spark plug. Just ask us anything before you arrive or while staying with us to help you enjoy your stay on Arran to the fullest.
We have seven bedrooms available in a variety of layouts to suit most needs, or why not bring a party of friends and family and have sole use of the guesthouse. All our bedrooms have individual character in keeping with a house of this type, and are comfortably furnished with quality crisp bedding on all beds and an ample supply of freshly laundered towels. All rooms have TV/video and a well stocked complimentary refreshments tray.

Just a brief insight into where we hope to take Glencloy Farmhouse in 2009 and onward. At the moment we are a Guesthouse providing bed and breakfast or room only serviced accommodation. In the next 12 months we hope that initial investigations into providing bunkhouse style accommodation and restaurant facilities come to fruition. The bunkhouse would offer a comfortable affordable accommodation for up to 20.The restaurant we would hope to offer reasonably bistro style meals at lunch time and dinner.Keep watching this spaceHazel, Neil, Family & Friends
If travelling on foot we are happy to collect you from the Brodick Ferry and also drop you off on your departure.

Turn right from the ferry terminal and travel for a mile. Turn left into Glencloy Road and travel straight forward onto the farm track. Turn right after the cowsheds and we are on the left
I took my wife, daughter, son in law and 3 grandchildren on what we expected to be a couple of nice days on Arran in a B&B. We got some of the best service of anywhere we have stayed in Britain. Neil & Kelly went out of their way to make us feel at home and helped us make the most of our stay. Highly recommended
