Me and my boyfriend went here for a night out last Saturday for some drinks and the cabaret show. To start off, the level of hygiene was very poor, especially in the toilets, no air freshener. Wooden chairs were very uncomfortable to sit in and unsteady. The whole layout and design of the place is very old fashioned, unwelcoming and really unattractive. Levels of customer service were appalling, the staff came across so unfriendly, grumpy and at times miserable. This brings us to the drink charges, considering the look and location of the club, it is very overpriced and they need to seriously rethink what they're charging people. Final point, standard of entertainment, absolute rubbish and dreadful, the singer hahaha if you can even call her that looked as if she had come straight from a homeless shelter and spruced herself up a bit and was like a wooden barbie doll singing either dreadfully slow songs or ones back in the 60 ' s and 70's even though their was a mixture of all ages in the crowd. Very disappointed, would never return and defo would never recommend to friends and family. Anonymous

Wooden chairs were very uncomfortable to sit in, unsteady and one was so shaky an older man with a crutch fell off it, seriously hurt himself and came very close to having to be taken to hospital!! The whole layout and design of the place is very old fashioned, unwelcoming and really unattractive. Me and my boyfriend were up for last Saturday's cabaret show and let's just say one word, DEPLORABLE!! Where do we start, very poor hygiene especially in toilets, very smelly, no air freshener! Wooden chairs weren't comfortable, not very steady, one in particular was so shaky an older man with a crutch ended up falling off it and came close to having to go to hospital! Very old fashioned, dull and unattractive layout of the whole place, in need of a serious makeover, level of customer service was terrible, staff were either looking grumpy, flustered or miserable and don't make much effort to make conversation. How this place has survived as long as it has, only god knows. The cabaret entertainment was crap, the singer looked like she had come straight from a homeless shelter and spruced herself up a bit and most of her songs were from way back in the 60's and 70's or were way too slow for a Saturday night out, would rate 0 stars if I could!! They need to think again about the prices they charge for alcohol considering the kind of area they are in, overpriced. Would NEVER recommend to anyone, avoid this place like the black death.
