About Us

We took over the Hotel in July 2012, the Hotel was in desperate need of Major refurbishment and TLC. Although work will be ongoing for some years; we already have a popular spacious Public Bar and Intimate Dining room serving a wide selection of lunches and A la Carte evening meals.

Welcome

The building is a traditional old Scottish house full of charm and character believed to be dated around 1898 set in Traditional Fishing Village of Rosehearty located only a few miles west of Fraserburgh. It is within easy reach of the wonderful granite city of Aberdeen and its International Airport.

Our Services

The Upper lounge which will have a fishing theme to enhance the Villages tradition has now opened and has been renamed as The Wheel House, catering for meals, private parties and casual drinks.

There is also a function hall to the rear of the property with a capacity of over 150 able to cater for Weddings, funerals, birthdays and other social functions.

The Hotel Accomodation has newly been refurbished. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and all fitted with ensuite facilities, Sky TV, Tea/coffee making facilities and beautiful views.
We have five rooms altogether - one twin room, two executive double rooms, one family room and a standard double.

Our aim has always been to create a friendly, yet professional atmosphere where we can offer our guests an enjoyable meal, party or night out.

Accommodation

Our Hotel accomodation have newly been refurbished boasting all the modern facilities that are expected when you travel away from home either on business or on vacation.

All of our rooms have Sky Television, tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and ensuite toilets all fitted with power showers.

Free Wifi is available throughout the Hotel.

We have 5 Hotel rooms in total - 1 Twin, 2 Executive Doubles, 1 Family & 1 Standard Double.

Public Bar

The Public Bar has been for many years a popular attraction for locals and visitors alike with plenty parking and Central location on the Square in Rosehearty. New life has been brought back into the bar after recent modernisation.
We also boast a Full Sky Sports Package screening all the big games on our 50 inch Plasma TV covering a range of sports. Special Offers available during some games, look out for details on our website.
Bar Meals and snacks are available during Restaurant opening hours.

Restaurant

From breakfast to dinner: you'll relish the dishes prepared by our top chef. We select the best from traditional British dishes, using locally sourced, fresh, seasonal produce to Asian cuisine.

No matter what type of dish you prefer, you'll enjoy the stylish presentation of our food and the elegant design that adds that special touch to an already sparkling experience.

We cater for lunches and A la carte meals in our main Restaurant.

Bar Meals and Snacks are also available in our Public Bar.

The Upper lounge (The Wheelhouse) can be booked for large parties or private functions.

New Lunch & Bar menus will be available early November.

The Wheel House

The Wheel house is a cosy lounge bar located on the first floor.
When refurbishing this area, we decided to keep the old scene of the Bay on the wall and keep with a nautical theme; inkeeping with the Villages history.

The Wheel House can have many purposes, it works well as an additional eating area when the main Restaurant is fully booked or can also be booked for small private functions, meetings, christenings, baby showers, training days etc.

The Function Hall

The Function Hall can cater for many different events, functions etc from Funeral Teas to Weddings, not to mention everything inbetween.

With a capacity of well over 150, the function hall is a sizeable and comfortable space to hold any event whether you just want to organise a charity Quiz night or come to one of our entertainment nights we will be having.

The Function Hall also boasts its very own fully stocked bar, lounge area and independant toilet block.

Our Newly refurbished kitchen with new modern equipment is capable of catering for any type of event and meal choice and with our Excellent Catering team; anything is possible.
