Got this guy to tile my kitchen and utility. A terible and upsetting experience followed. 1. He was unreliable saying he would turn up at 0830hrs but turned up at 1200hrs and 1030hrs. 2. He was extreamly untidy and left a total mess, with tile adhesive all over my patio, he leaves all his mess and then asks for £110 to take it away!! 3. The quality of his workmanship is very poor i could have done a much better job my self 4. After two days we noticed lots of the grout cracking and the tiles were moving about 3mm, at this point i got a professional tiler in for a second opinion. He lifted one tile and quickly found that the adhesive had been incorrectly mixed and was still very wet and soft which explained why the tiles were not sticking to the ply underneath. As we were expecting a new kitchen install in a couple of days we had no option but to rip out all the incorectly layed tiles. This took my wife and i 10 hours. i contacted Lee buchan to ask for a way ahead but he was extreamly abusive swearing and blaming every thing but himself. He said as i had already paid he could not give a sh** and hung up. He took £700 for a totaly unaceptable job and now i have to pay a professional to retile the floor and pay for another £800 worth of tiles!! Please take my advice and use a honest professional Dont use Lee Buchan he is a cowboy!!!
