About Us

We cater for everyone but especially, being situated within a Business Park, the business employees around us. We promote healthy eating with all our dishes freshly made daily.

Being a Café, we aim to supply healthy food, as either takeaway or sit in.

We also cater for outside functions such as meetings, parties, christenings or funerals, and our premises can be used for these functions, if booked in advance.

Our aim is to supply good food at reasonable prices and with the repeat business we receive that aim seems to be met on a daily basis.

The cafe seats 36 in warm and welcoming surroundings.

We have televisions for the customers, so you can catch up on e.g. the news over a cup of tea and a sandwich.

Open To All

The business motto is "Pro Popolus Utor" - "For all the people to use". Although The Traders' Pit Stop Café is situated in the Port Dundas Business Park it is open for anyone to use.
The Café can be used for daily meetings or parties, birthday celebrations etc. by prior arrangement as well as daily breakfasts, morning or afternoon coffee/tea, and lunches served from 12:00 - 15:00.

Good but bad

Value

The staff are always nice and welcoming the girls food hygiene is good but on several occasions I have been given food that has been prepared without gloves by the owner and twice why'll he was eating. It is basic food hygiene to wear gloves when handling meats especially when also handling money. I have stopped using the cafe due to this it is a shame as they are nice people Im just not willing to let the owner prepare my food I don't know when or if he washed his hands after the toilet or even if he is unwell and been coughing into his hands he should know better since he is supposed to be the manager.
