def for a group
the garage is a large upbeat club with a good variety of music styles and a few different bars to keep up with the number of people through the doors. It is always busy after about 11pm and the massive dancefloor is usually packed from end to end. There is some seating but unless you plan ahead and get there early it can be hard to find some free. Drinks are reasonably priced but price on the door expensive particularly for non students (though free passes can sometimes be picked up from some of the bars nearby). A good night out if you like to dance but it is definately better with a group of friends. They also have a function suite upstairs which is worth looking into if you are looking for a place to party.

Fun night out
The garage in glasgow is a fun venue if you are with a group of friends. They play a decent variety of music, dance, hip hop etc, and the drinks are affordable. However I would say the entry price on saturdays is quite expensive, so if your not a student you may fare better elsewhere. Look out for people on the street giving out free entry passes, they could save you money which could be put towards a few drinks. Usually a drink is around £1.50, and the club is very large, with an outdoor section for smokers. Good for a weekday night out.
