The Beech Tree Inn is a family restaurant and bar situated just north of Glasgow. We serve the best range of top-quality bar meals including mouth-watering local / seasonal specials. In addition, we have a good range of light meals and snacks. We also stock a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. What makes the Beech Tree Inn so special? The Inn combines a country setting with great food. The menu is wide-ranging and accessible to all tastes. Our staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. We have customers who have been coming for years, and many more new faces since our extensive improvements to the facilities and menu. We welcome everyone, from young families to solitary walkers, courting couples to lunching ladies. We have Pygmy Goats, Mini Shetland Ponies, Ducks, Rabbits, & Zebra Finches for the kids to see.
The Beech Tree Inn is situated in Dumgoyne village, near the Glengoyne distillery, on the main Glasgow to Aberfoyle road, and is surrounded by stunning scenery. The Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and Dumgoyne hill are close by and well worth a visit. The Inn is adjacent to the West Highland Way, and forms an important and welcome stop after walking 7.5 miles from Milngavie. The Inn has evolved over the years and encompasses a rambling collection of characterful buildings and an extensive beer garden. The buildings and facilities have recently been extensively renovated to a high standard. We are proud of our good food, the same menu applies throughout the premises.
At the Beech Tree Inn, we offer a wide choice of dishes from around the world, and a range of speciality beers & fine wines, at value-for-money prices. We have a selection of vegetarian and gluten free dishes which are clearly marked on the menu for your ease of reference. The menu is served throughout the premises whether you are more comfortable in the bar, snug or conservatory and is refreshed and updated every 2-3 months. We are child friendly and offer a special extensive menu for kids to encourage healthier eating, whilst continuing to cater for the old favourites too.
We went to the Beechtree Inn for my mum's 50th and were all very impressed, just a short distance from the city centre and its set on the beautiful countryside. the beer garden is great and there is also a great atmosphere inside. All round clean plates, would highly recommend
