Welcome to Zen Lifestyle, Edinburgh's Award Winning Salon, Spa and Skin Clinic. Zen has been recognised as the UK Salon of the Year at the British Beauty & Spa Awards for the third year running and offers over 100 treatments for men and women.
About us
Zen Lifestyle offers urban men and women a complete lifestyle experience, providing services and products that are dedicated to the mind and the body. The three central locations are open seven days a week, offering early morning and late night appointments.
The high standards set by the business have resulted in Zen Lifestyle being awarded 18 national beauty industry awards, including the prestigious UK Salon of the Year Award (2003, 2008, 2012, 2013 & 2014) and at the 2009 British Beauty Awards, founder Fiona Fowley herself was recognised with the award for Salon Director of the Year.
Zen Lifestyle offers relaxing spa treatments such as Massage, Manicure, Pedicure and Facials, but also incorporates one of Scotland's most advanced medical skin clinics, offering treatments for problematic and ageing skin from Harley Streets Dr Terry Loong, who visits every month. Although Zen Lifestyle is famous for it's waxing, especially Brazilian hot waxing techniques, Laser Hair Removal is also one of the most popular treatments offered.

The Body and Skin Clinic at Zen Lifestyle offers clients the chance to experience a wide range of corrective and non-surgical cosmetic treatments such as Permanent Make-Up, Medical Aesthetics's, Laser Hair Removal, Endermologie Cellulite Reduction and Advanced Skin Treatmennts.

fabulous wax
I have had bad waxing experiences with other places in the past, but I have to say my worries are completely gone after my appointment at Zen. They made me feel really comfortable and were extremely friendly. They use a special Hot wax that opens the folicals more which helps release the hairs, making it a more pleasent, easier wax. It truely is brilliant and Zen is now my new salon!!

Lovely girls working here
I had treatments at Zen from a few different therapists now and I mustsay they are all excellent beauty therapists and really lovely and friendly. I get my waxing done here pretty regularly and they use hot wax which is much more comfortable for those intimate areas!!It's not the cheapest place for waxing but I get a student discount which makes it a bit better. I've had Murad facial here as a treat as well and I must say it was a lovely experience. They are also open every Sunday which is handy if you can't get organised during the week.

I have always been envious of other people's skin and how their makeup appeared so smooth and flawless... my make up always seemed to appear patchy. I had looked into resurfacing and microdermabrasion treatments but I had never got very good results. After spending ages researching into different salons and treatments I came across the facial scanning treatment at Zen which helps to identify the underlying problems. Luckily for me my skin was just seriously dehydrated and needed a good exfoliation. They suggested many products and treatment which (some) I decided to go for. I ended up going for the diamond tome treatment which is like a really good exfoliation for the skin. Well after the facial my skin felt amazing and now I'm hooked. My make up goes on my skin perfectly without the patchy appearance. However not only does my make up go on much better my skin looks a million times better I usually don't even have to wear any.
