The Omar Khayyam is a lovely Indian restaurant in the west end of Edinburgh.I have visited the restaurant on numerous occasions for both lunch and dinner and highly recommend it for both its extensive menu and friendly, helpful service.I particularly enjoy the beef korma - the meat is always tender and delicious and is a real pleasure.Western dishes are also available on the menu if you prefer not to sample the spicier fare and this is also helpful if you visit with a child.This restaurant isn't cheap, but its definitely worth the money you pay.
