A meal in this place turned out to be one of the worst meals I've ever eaten. We had been told of an amazing retaurant in Edinburgh, but when we got there it was closed, without a backup reccomendation we walk back up to the castle, getting very hungry and decided to have lunch at Garfunkel's as there was something we both fancied on the menu.I should have known that an empty restuarant on a beautiful summers day was a bad sign. The waiter serving us had a grump on and spoke very little english. He struggled to understand us and we struggled to understand him. The air con seemed to be set to freezing and although it was a glorious day outside I sat at the table in my coat I was so cold.Eventually the food arrived. My roast vegetable pizza was dripping in grease and look like it had been deep fried and my Husbands burger was so greasy and stodgy he struggled to finish it (unheard of for him!).We couldn't wait to get out of the place.
