Restaurant - French in Edinburgh

I loved this place. Have eaten their twice and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere isn't great and its hard to hear but the food is excellent and so is the staff. You know a place is great when they make you enjoy a food you don't typically enjoy. For me this was broccoli. Normally I don't mind broccoli but I actually loved their broccoli.

I found the food to be very good for the price. We went for lunch and soup to start with and then chicken. I was very pleased with the food, however, I was sat the table directly next to the toilet which wasn't so pleasant. Be sure to ask to avoid getting sat at that table. Otherwise, a very pleasent experience! I will return.

Snug little French restaurant, tucked away in the heart of old Edinburgh. Menu is well constructed with a reasonable variety of dishes to choose from, including; quail with rhubarb compote, scallops with butternut squash and perfectly cooked lamb cutlets. The side veg was a bit disappointing, but that's not really the main event.
