Have only ever been in here a couple of times for a meal, but I have found the food to be excellent each time. The restaurant is up a circular staircase and the bar is downstairs so you can enjoy a peaceful meal without all the noise from the bar. The food is always nice and very reasonably priced. The staff are attentive and helpful. There is a good varied choice on the menu, and they do specials every day too. Could do with toilets upstairs in the restaurant instead of having to go downstairs, but other rhan that, it is a good place to go for reasonable priced food.

I have been here twice. The first time was the night of the fireworks and so we ended up in here because the places we usually go to were packed full. The food was really nice then, and the prices were good for what you got. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the staff were nice. Around 8 months later I came back for a meal with my boyfriend, he had ordered haggis, neeps and tatties. My food was fine but his haggis looked like it was from a tin, it was horrible and his tatties were smash. He couldn't eat it so we complained and then heard the staff moaning about us (we were right next to the bar) which I thought was a bit unnecessary.
