BE WARNED THEY SEND DEAD PLANTS

I ONLY WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE I PURCHASED A CHERRY TREE. IT ARRIVED BARE ROOTS WITH NOTHING TO KEEP THEM MOIST AND TIGHTLY WRAPPED IN PLASTIC SO GOT NO AIR. WHEN I OPENED IT ALL THE LEAVES FELL OFF SO I TRIED TO SAVE IT BUT IT DIED. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY JUST DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR PRODUCT OR THEIR CUSTOMERS SO BE WARNED AND DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Ordered this shrub and it came in bubble wrap. The root was as dry as a bone. It was a dried up stick. Like others I wish I had seen the reviews. Absolute rubbish. Shouldn't be allowed to sell.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered 100 hawthorn trees from them in April. Only 18 developed, the rest are dead. These were planted the day after delivery and all planted together. No reply when I contacted them. Complete waste of €75 and waste of time. Never again.

Ordered this on ebay from Beechwood Nurseries. ordered it and a bare root apple tree soaked both and panted in holes prepared and manure lined and used good quality compost and watered well. Apple tree came int leaf and stat if blossom after6 weeks. Lilac tree had bare stalk on arrival after six weeks leaves were strange had identified on plant ID UK site by 93 members as a currant bush colour indeterminate. Contacted them on Ebay several times saying not like my other lilac bushes and identified as currant repeatedly requested a replacement. They claimed they supplied my other two lilac bushes which were planted in the early 1980's their company was established in 1997 so just ridiculous responses. i had ordered hedging and flowering cherry trees and plants from them over four years on amazon and Ebay soaking them well and preparing before their arrival. They usual look awful but respond to intensive close support. I accepted this with the prices charged but this is totally unacceptable. I have phoned them daily over the past 7 days at all different times of day their phone just rings out. A person called Lenka responds for them on Ebay in an aggressive and demeaning way and when asked repeatedly to replace the tree ignores the request making no attempt to rectify the problem. I have ordered a replacement elsewhere now. The problem is that you have only 30 days to get money back on Ebay and are not aware there is an issue till the leaves grow on the bare stem plant in the pot till 6 weeks later. I would give them zero stars for service,quality, value and as an overall rating if this were possible. Avoid , Avoid , Avoid the extremely poor quality products and customer service are just not worth it financially and in terms of time spent trying to get a resolution or a response at all. I left phone voicemails, made over 40 calls over a week and sent three emails and lost £17.99. The currant bush is no use to me and I spent 6 weeks cultivating it. I got a replacement for £2 more from a company in England and paid £2 more if was 24" with loads of leaves and arrived damp in great condition not the 9" thin bare stem without leave that was bone dry that I got from Beechwood Nurseries.

Ordered a bare root Medlar and a bare root Damson Autumn 2021 which I had to chase for delivery. Received an email back advising that they were due to be despatched and they then duly arrived which I emailed and thanked them for but never did receive a confirmation of order or order number, etc. Potted them both up immediately following their delivery and cared for them equally over the winter months, however, although the Medlar is now in leaf the Damson is clearly dead and I have emailed them several times with photographs asking for either a replacement or a refund and disappointingly no reply whatsoever from the nursery. Not easy to find contact details online, email or telephone but separate to their web page contact sheet have tried telephoning a number I found but it just rings out. Will continue to try and make contact with them but on the strength of my experience, I do not recommend anyone buying plants from this company - ever!!!!!

Laurel Bushes

Amazon advertised these bushes to be 20-25cm tall in 10cm pots. On arrival they were clearly poor quality and two were less than 20cm and all were in 8-9cm pots. Sent two e-mails but no response. Neither Amazon or e-bay should be advertising this nurseries products. DON'T BUY THEM!

Bad quality plants: 80% of the bare-root shrubs (or better: twigs) were dead on arrival. And on top of that terrible customer service- only a rude response to my request for a replacement or refund.

UK/NI 3376 Company no.NI618314 Dear Robert, As I’m sure you must be aware under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I am entitled to a right to replacement of the plants. See below. They were not of a satisfactory quality or acceptable standard as I have shown in the photos I sent. At least two thirds of the hedging plants have never borne leaves. Now you refuse me a refund as per my statutory rights. I will be contacting Trading Standards Your rights when shopping If you bought goods before 1 October 2015, you have rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. If you buy goods after the 1 October 2015, you have similar rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Your purchase must: Correspond with any descriptions on labels, packaging, advertisements and catalogues – including photos. Be of satisfactory quality – ie of a standard a reasonable person would consider acceptable, given its price and description. Be fit for its purpose. If a purchase does not meet these requirements, you are entitled to reject the item and return it for a full refund within a thirty days. Sometimes you may have to wait for months for a plant to flower, and then discover the blooms aren’t the colour specified on the plant label. In this situation you will be outside of the time period for rejecting the item, but you will still have the right to a replacement of the plant for up to six years from the date of purchase

Seemed like good prices so thought I would give them a go, purchased through Amazon on the 24th March; prime delivery not included so i paid for their 3-5 day shipping, estimated arrival 1st April. April 1st came and went, message sent by Amazon that it was delayed with no info why. April 2nd they asked for a review! Left a poor one on Amazon: FINALLY contacted directly by the seller (Graeme) who sarcastically said it was my fault as I hadn't contacted them, even though they had sent automated messages about the late delivery. He then tried to bribe me with a free plant if I would change the review. He replied to three messages again sarcastically insinuating it was my fault, but never bothered to dispatch the late items; I had to get Amazon to force them to refund the price in the end as they would not respond. I can't comment on the plant quality as i never actually received any, but as a landscaper with 10 years experience in dealing with numerous garden centres and nurseries, this is by far the most unnecessarily difficult and rudest company I have ever been in contact with - Avoid at all costs!
