Nice place

Have visited Russells a few times as local to where I live and on the whole its a great experience. First of all, the interior of the restaurant is beautiful, they have managed to balance the charm of an old cotswold building, with a modern, contemporary feel. The sliding glass doors at the back are lovely and outside eating area is great (if we ever have a summer)The food is generally superb with a good variety of interesting dishes, the last time we went my group ate osso bucco, ox tongue and ling so something for adventurous tastes.The only downside is that every time we have been, there has been a slight slip in service, the first time they brought us dessrt menus and then completely forgot about us until 40 minutes later we reminded them, and the last time we visited they got one of our dessrt orders wrong. Also, the wine list is pretty uninspiring.However, overall, its somewhere I would heartily recommend!
