New Start Counselling

I'm a Registered BACP Accredited Counsellor, working with Individuals and Couples. People that I work with often have difficulties in Relationships, Low self-esteem, Depression, Abuse, Bereavement and Losses, particularly issues arising from childhood.
I offer a compassionate and confidential therapeutic relationship to help you overcome a wide range of problems.
I see people in pleasant, relaxing surroundings in both Cricklade and Swindon, where you can feel safe and secure in discussing your worries and concerns.
Individuals come for counselling because they want to overcome barriers to moving forward in their lives.
Couples come for counselling when they want to improve their understanding of their relationship; how they can transform how they are both with themselves and with their partner and how together they can form a more satisfying relationship.
My aim is to help you gain (or regain) ways and means to be happy and fulfilled as you go forward in Life, managing your current and any future worries and problems that may occur.

Training and Experience

In 1998 I began my career in Counselling, gaining a Certificate and then a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling in 2002; then a Certificate in Time Limited Therapy, and a Certificate in Couple Counselling.
I gained my BACP Accreditation and am on the UK Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (UKRCP), and am a Registered Counsellor/ Psychotherapist.
I have been working with clients since 2001. I adhere to the British Association for counselling and Psychotherapy's "Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy".

Other information

I work with Individuals, Couples, EAPs and organisations.

I have regular personal supervision with a qualified supervisor, which ensures that my counselling standards and ethics are being respected and maintained. I also attend regular on-going training and CPD to ensure that my skills and knowledge are up-to-date.

Trade body

I am a Registered, Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy [BACP] and adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.

Fees

Individuals: £45 per weekly session of 50 minutes. Couples: £50 per weekly session of 60 minutes; payment by cash or cheque.
