I am writing to thank the staff of Fairhaven, in Old Town, for looking after my dear friend Ron for many months before his peaceful death at the age of 93. I had thought that a care home would not be a happy option for Ron, but was very much mistaken. The atmosphere at Fairhaven was beyond all expectations, kindness, respect and high quality of care was in evidence every time we visited.
