Our clients are all important to us

Wellbeing is the current catch phrase and it is a good one as what will make me feel good may make someone else miserable - so we first listen to our clients then act on what they tell us.

Care is so much more than speaking nicely, making sure that peoples physical needs are met. Physical, mental and emotional needs are so individual and this is even more so as we age. Our staff undergo over 15 courses a year on diverse subjects, are followed up on to ensure that the training is being put into practice and listened to if they come across situations where they feel they could do better.

Our home has only 20 residents

This is the size that we have decided works best. It is big enough to have some of the advantages of size (particularly as we are one of two homes that work together) whilst maintaining a closer relationship between staff and our clients - we know that this includes the residents' loved ones as well as the residents themselves.
