Walked into the sumtuous surroundings & we were immediately greeted at the door who quickly arranged a table for us. The meal was gorgeous, very fresh ingredients & really good to watch the chef cook in the open kitchen. Can't fault the service either - we were attended to very quickly & our food came within 10 minutes. In all a very enjoyable evening out. ;)

Not too sure

A bit unsure about this place as although I love the food and the service is good, ultimately it isn't fantastic. I've found the staff a bit hit and miss, probably because it is a large premises they're not too bothered about focusing on the individual customer as they have too many to serve. Sometimes this place really fills out.In a good location to go for a few drinks beforehand or afterwards, the wine menu is a bit pricey here too.Criticisms aside, the food here is really nice and it holds a degree of individuality, especially being able to see your food being prepared in a very clean environment.I wouldn't say don't eat here, it's just there are many places that are a lot nicer.

It's Pizza Express: a cut above Pizza Hut and fairly fast food made fairly respectable. To be honest, I found it with a little difficulty, as it's rather tucked away, although this wasn't a major problem. The location is good once you're used to it, however, as it's conveniently close to the railway station, and sufficiently hidden to ensure that you can usually get a table without any problems. The restaurant is fairly smart and clean, and the food is typical Pizza Express fare - for some reason this means that most of the food is pizza. Staff were polite, although serving times were slow when compared with other Pizza Express branches.

The service here is excellent. At times there is a wait, as this location is very popular.Seated in a relaxed environment, unhurried service from good, knowledgable staff who have been here for years, which is a good sign. The food is great, a good selection of starters, numerous pizzas and salads as well as other dishes. Food is made in view of customers, so you can see how it is made. Nothing pretentious about the food, all freshly prepared and of great taste and appearance.Plenty of seating upstairs is available too, but there is no parking to speak of, unless you can grab one of the few off street slots close by. The wine list is well balanced, a good selection to choose from.Great food, good value for money and very good service with a smile. There are plenty of bars within a short walk to visit before coming for a meal here.
