Never outside of Brighton or London did I expect such a grand showcase of drag artistes! The Birdcage is a fun, fantastic and good humoured night out, with decent prices on the door, on drinks, and a glitzy, well kept interior.The staff are full of fun and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Popular with stag and hen nights the Birdcage is always bustling with activity. It's one of the hidden gems in Leeds and Yorkshire as a whole!If you're planning to go out round Leeds, go here - you'll be guaranteed a crazy night with no trouble. A brilliant often missed but much loved venue.

I adore this place some of my best nights out in Leeds have finished here and its also were I meet my husband. It has recently been voted the number 1 nightclub in Leeds in the Yorkshire evening post night life awards and I can see why it is great fun. The club stages a full vegas style cabaret shows with drag queens, boy dancers and showgirls with costumes and feathers that are out of this world. Every song played is a classic whether its from the 70s 80s 90s or now. Great Night Out
The Birdcage is a brilliant venue in Leeds. Offering themed nights including 80's night on a Wednesday which includes the delightful Miss Orry hosting the night of 80's hits. 80p entry and 80p on selected drinks. Thursdays is 90's night and we are left in the hands of Degsie a great dj who has been known to show you how to groove on the pole. In keeping with 80's night drinks are 90p each and entry is 90p. The weekend includes some brilliant cabaret acts and the nights are again hosted by Miss Orry. With comfortable seating, excellent and friendly staff, door staff who are not only gorgeous but lovely cheeky blokes too then you really can't go wrong. Perfect for everyone.
