Our aim is to provide our customers with quality food and drink in a warm and friendly traditional setting. Each shop serves, not only the best freshly ground espresso coffee, but also sandwiches made from quality fresh ingredients, prepared daily at each premises.

At Merrie England the motto is 'fresh is best' so along with our daily prepared sandwiches our own bakery provides each coffee shop with a range of cakes and our famous apple pie, along with the scones and tarts which are baked fresh each morning.

Our famous apple can be purchased whole from any of the Merrie England coffee shops or from our Delicatessen where you can also buy our home cooked Roast Beef sliced, ready to take home.

Our Coffee Beans

Merrie England's coffee beans are high grade beans from around the world which are supplied, and blended by a local and long established coffee roaster.

The beans are made up from plantations in South America and Africa which are 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified.

The Merrie England blend has the total make up consisting of 100% Arabica beans to give the customer a very special coffee.
