Excellent Representation
I have used Nick Smith several times to oversee and represent my conveyancing needs. He has been fantastic, easy going, very approachable and prompt. He is extremely good value for money and highly professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending him. Yasmin

Absolutely Useless
I used Nick Smith as I was buying a house. When he advised not to purchase the property I asked the reason why, he explained in legal terms which meant nothing to me. I said I didn't understand what he meant and he said 'I can't put it any clearer' and just repeated the legal mumbo jumbo. I didn't think it was unreasonable to expect him to explain it in layman's terms! He offered no advice whatsoever on what we could do to try and rectify the problem in order to buy the property. When calling the office I never got to speak to Nick, always the secretary and my calls never got returned as promised. I wrote an email and asked for a reply the same day, I rang reception and the lady advised I wouldn't get a response the same day, it would be the day after. Over a week later and I am still waiting for a response. The solicitor acting on behalf of the seller of the property has mentioned in an email that Nick Smith is on holiday! I would not recommend this solicitor to anyone! I am furious that I handed over my hard earned cash to this joke of a company. They don't know how to treat their clients. Hardly surprising that they advertising for business! Absolutely terrible all round. I'd give it 0 stars, 0/10, zilch!

Very disappointed
I used this solicitor firm as I was purchasing a house. I called for updates several times and was always fobbed off. Today, I received a voicemail from Nicolas Smith so I returned his call and spoke to the receptionist Liz Smith who said he was busy and would call me back. I was left another voicemail from Nicolas asking that when I called to stay on hold if he was busy. I called the office and Liz Smith answered the phone. She said he was busy so I asked to be put on hold as requested by Nicolas Smith. She responded with "Err, no you wont hold" I mentioned that Nicolas Smith asked me to hold, so she hung up on me! I called again and found Liz was very rude. I was then put onto Nicolas Smith who wasn't helpful at all. When I said I was thinking about going elsewhere and using a different firm, the response was "do you want to sack us?"!!!! So I did and have hired another solicitor firm to do the job. I would recommend doing your research before deciding to use a solicitor firm otherwise you will experience what I did. I will be logging a complaint with Legal Ombudsman and hope what I experienced does not happen to anyone else in future. Really disappointed with the way I was treated!! I would never treat my customers this way.

Very bad experience
