The Thornbury Centre Story

The site of The Thornbury Centre has been home to St. Margaret's Church since the beginning of the 20th Century. A traditional stone building was home to the worshipping community until the late 1980's when cracks started to appear in the chancel arch. Within a week the building was declared unsafe and the congregation were forced to move into the Sunday School building. There was little choice but to demolish the original Church building and start afresh. With vision and commitment, the congregation of St. Margaret's made plans to build a new Church and Community Centre. The award winning Thornbury Centre continues to be a statement of belief and hope for the future.

The Thornbury Centre - The heart of the community

The Thornbury Centre is a registered Charity that uses its flexible and multi-functional building for the benefit of the local community. In addition to hosting the local library, an on-site cafe and other community-focussed organisations the Centre operates a number of externally funded projects for the benefit of its local, diverse communities and is rapidly gaining a reputation as an holistic health and wellbeing centre.

The Thornbury Centre - Serviced office space

This light and spacious building, with on-site cafe and car park has fully serviced office space, including a suite of offices and an IT/Training Room, available to rent. Ideally situated on the Leeds/Bradford border it has good public transport links. Tenants benefit from a manned reception, discounted rates for use of the meeting rooms and conference facilities and an on-site cafe and car park.
