We drove a considerable distance to dine at the Karachi, after seeing Rick Stein's visit and recommendation: Mr Stein being my favourite TV chef!Karachi is a cafe-style restaurant (i.e. walk in, sit down and don't expect tablecloths). Cutlery is not provided unless you ask, which we did.We had starters of Shish and Shami kebabs which were unexciting and deep fried. The main courses were chicken mughlai which was okay but not fantastic, and korai saag ghost (korai lamb with spinach, as chosen by Rick Stein), which was delicious. We were also served a plate containing 6 chapatis included in the price. The curries were very good with plenty of flavour and body but not outstanding. Our conclusion was that Rick Stein needs to get out more. The meal was good, but I've had better. And much, much worse.
