I suppose based on the name i half expected there to be lots of witch related props but unfortunately not! I'd agree with the previous reviewers comments about the service, its not as good as other pubs in the area but its still relatively ok. We had a bit of a wait to get served, more waiting to get the food and even more waiting to get the bill. Its not too bad for kids, but they did start to get a bit aggitated because of all the waiting around. Food is standard pub food, nothing special and slightly expensive i thought. Don't think i'd go back in a rush!

The Witch Inn I have a bit of a love hate relationship with, I used to greatly enjoy drinking there during the 90's when it was more of a boozer pub. I like what they have done since they got rid of the pool table and turned it into more of an eating family place. They have a lovely garden area, with plenty to entertain the kids. Food can be a tad overprice for what you actually get, I would opt to go straight to the main courses in future. The menu itself is good as is the atmosphere. From the various visits I have made to eat here, I have felt you need to be matey or a recognised local with the owner in order to get better service though. But then I guess he is a bit of a football celebrity. Overall I recommend the witch and would eat and drink there again.
