Welcome

Experience a comfortable stay at The Cottage Bed & Breakfast. A short walk to central Chichester, close to the Hospital, Festival Theatre, Goodwood and Bishop Otter University. Lynn & Arthur have been welcoming guests to The Cottage Bed & Breakfast since 1991, over 20 years. The property itself is nearly a 100 years old and is built on former land of the Goodwood Estate. The property has two rooms, One Twin & One Double and whatever your reason for coming to Chichester, offers a pleasant and relaxing stay. Off road parking and Wi-Fi are available.

About the Owners

Lynn and Arthur have lived in Chichester for over 25 years, they have therefore developed a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area, where to go and what to do.

Rooms

There are two rooms available at £50 per night per night for a single person and for two people in a room it is £70. They are both on the ground floor and have a separate Bathroom/ Shower room. Each room comes with flat screen TV, Complimentary tea tray. Need and iron or hairdryer please just ask.

Breakfast

Breakfast typically consists of juices, cereals, full English breakfast, toast, a variety of teas, Coffee regular or de-caf. Most dietary requirements can usually be catered for if you let us know when you make the booking. If a full English is too much for you: you could try eggs, bacon bap or simply eggs and bacon.

Local Information

Chichester and the surrounding areas are full of a great range of fun activities and places to visit. Not far away is Chichester Harbour where you can go for walks, sail, explore some of the villages, such as, Bosham, Dell Quay, Emsworth, Itchenor, and then there's East & West Witterings with some great sandy beaches and wind surfing.
The town centre is a terrific place to shop with a lovely variety of places to eat. Close to the railway station we have a MultiPlex Cinema, Bowling Alley and more eateries to try.
Chichester Festival Theatre has been launching plays and musicals to the west end for years, two of its most famous are Singing in the Rain and Yes Minister. If you are looking to see a great show then we recommend booking tickets and meals in advance as it is an incredibly popular theatre.
Goodwood Estates host several annual events, such as, Glorious Goodwood (Horses) The Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival the Goodwood Members Weekend, they have a skid pan, you can book a fabulous car and have a go round the motor circuit, book helicopter & aircraft rides, so many choices, so much fun.
