Bognor Lawn Tennis Club provides a range of tennis, croquet and social activities. First-time visitors and new members of all ages, playing standards and experience are assured of a warm and friendly welcome. The Club has five all-weather hard courts, two of which are floodlit, and four grass courts. Membership is open to all ages and abilities and the Club offers a comprehensive range of tennis and social activities. Throughout the year our ladies’ and men’s doubles teams compete in the Sussex County tennis leagues and in the summer the Club fields a mixed senior veterans’ team. LTA Licensed Coaches offers individual and group coaching to adults and juniors, members and non-members. Open Days are held in April/May, when the Club’s courts and other facilities are open to members of the public. Social events are held throughout the year, including Quiz and Skittles Evenings, Barbecues, and an Annual Club Dinner. Our Senior Club Championships offers members a further opportunity for competitive play, as do the regular “Fun Tournaments” that are organised throughout the year. The Club also hosts a Ladies' and a Mixed Open tournament for tennis players from around the Southern Counties. The Club’s Croquet Section meets regularly and all Tennis Club members are automatically eligible to participate.
