Visited on a Saturday morning with my girlfriend. Was busy but not to the point we couldn't get a table immediately. This is the kind of coffee place where you go straight to a table then a member of staff comes to you and takes your drinks order, leaving you with a menu to browse. Sensible tactic for increasing your order from a drink to a drink and a snack, but didn't feel pushy. Food items on the menu sounded very nice indeed, and we both ordered food as well as our coffees. While waiting I noted that conversations were all quite loud - possibly a reflection of the clientèle being somewhat older than you might find in, e.g. a city centre Starbucks. It wasn't uncomfortably loud - it would still be possible to read a book I'd say, although the venue doesn't have the feel of a place where they'd be happy for you to set up camp for several hours, especially on your own taking up a table. Perhaps that would be different off-peak. Food arrived and was large and visually appealing. Maybe I'm being a tad fussy, but I'd say it was good without being "special" - no wow factor - I expect I could have managed to create a similar meal shopping for ingredients at my local supermarket and tending to go for above average quality stuff. All in all, a completely satisfactory visit. The staff were helpful without ever being annoying, the toilet was fine. My main disappointment, having read many reviews before going, was that is was so vanilla. I was hoping to see or experience something dire, or outstandingly awesome. Oh well. Maybe next time I'll take a book, baby or laptop.

as a student, I oftenlike to work in coffee shops as many of us do. But after being told I was notallowed to use the outlet for my laptop (I was told "electricity isnt free and the outlets are for the hoover") I can not imagine ever going there again. Good place for students and self employed professionals to avoid.

This place serves the best coffee in town and the food is great too. Good service and reasonable prices.
