After making the appointment for the renovation of our original Minton tile floor we were enforced to reschedule the work on no less than 5 occasions, due to letdowns from the plasterer. Trevor was a true professional about it, doing so without complaint and with great patience.During the actual work Trevor was always punctual and his demeanour was pleasant and chatty, but not to the point where it served as a distraction to what he was doing.The quality of the renovation is quite superb. The floor has had a new lease of life. It looks like it must have done all those years ago when it was first laid - clean and shiny, and now, finally, intact. (So pleased are we with the work we don’t want to walk on the floor anymore, we just want to admire it!) It was worth every penny we paid for it and more……We would have no reservation in recommending Trevor to anyone in the family or indeed anyone.Many thanks, Trev.

Tile Doctor
I’ve recently had a porcelain patio installed which unfortunately was left very stained by the builder - grout/cement etc. Trevor came out to assess it a few days after I contacted him, and returned to do the full patio a couple of weeks later. He did an outstanding job and the patio now looks as it should. I’d have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him.

Tile Transformation

Trevor did an excellent job restoring the original red tiles in my kitchen. I was surprised how well these tiles came up. I would recommend this company to anyone who are thing of bringing old tiles up to looking like new

Bathroom tiles
Trevor was very professional when working in the bathroom. This included cleaning the tiles and removing and replacing the seals in the shower. He also filled a couple of holes which had been left by a previous workman. Would certainly use again and also recommend to others.

Excellent Job on Minton Tiles
Trevor did an amazing job cleaning, restoring and replacing missing tiles in our hallway. He is excellent at what he does, so knowledgeable, thorough and his attention to detail is outstanding. Good Job Done
Trevor was in contact from the start, from my enquiry - came and did a survey of the repairs needed- kept me informed of the processes for each day including times. The result is at a high standard. I felt well informed about what to do next to look after the floor and we discussed a yearly visit from Trevor to come and keep the floor at the standard that he has created.

Minton tiled floor in hallway
Trevor did not explain what he was going to do to clean and treat the. Something went wrong with the coating/floor sealing process and had to be redone. It was too cold/ damp apparently. Grouting could have been better. A bit of a bodge quite frankly. Blower used was useless. The outside step was not cleaned or treated despite the brief . Rather disappointed overall. I suggest someone from Tile doctor head office takes at look at this!

Sealed Floor
We spent a lot of money installing a white gloss floor throughout the ground floor of our property. However keeping it clean was extremely difficult. Trevor came out and has brought the white grout back to life, sealed and buffed up our floor and it looks amazing. He also carried out the works with little disruption to the household.

Friendly, personable disposition. Punctual and reliable. Always explained what he was going to do and why. Helpful advice re maintaining floors. Trevor had to work on a Minton tiled hall floor and slate floors in breakfast room, kitchen, utility room and toilet. This took 4 days. On completion of cleaning and sealing, the floors look great and we are very happy with the result. We had tried twice to clean and restore the hall floor ourselves but because we had no damp proof course and had finished with a wet look gloss non breathable polish, we developed white patchy areas and couldn't face doing the floor ourselves for a third time!! Trevor removed the polish and this time used a breathable sealant which although not high gloss, has left a nice sheen to the tiles, enhances the colours, and we are happy with the result. Obviously, as Trevor has only just completed the work (21st July 2016), only time will tell but we are confident this breathable finish will resolve our previous problems. Trevor has told us to contact him if any problems do occur, as it took some months before they developed when we were trying to deal with it ourselves. The slate floors have a high gloss finish and really bring out the various colours of the slate - very pleased. Trevor was always happy to listen to any comments or concerns as the work progressed and worked hard to produce a good result.
