ONE OF THE WORST CHIP SHOPS IN HALESOWEN

Service

Quality

Value

Rude and sarcastic staff, old cold food that is passed off as fresh, portions differing every time, inept manager and customer service that is worth being investigated by Watch Dog. On top of this they have the nerve to keep a banner up saying that they won their last award in 2009. That was then and the realisation now is that they are substandard but using the banner to draw in passing trade. This is clearly misrepresenting a false image to Joe Public, however we are fooled only once. Read the reviews and wake up because your staff are dishonest.

Best Fish & Chip Shop In The Midlands

Service

Possibly the best chippy in the midlands (and I should know, I've tried a lot of them). It was there when I was at school over 10 years back and its still there now and they still offer the best food going.Be it escaping from school at lunch time to get something better then a crapy school lunch or needing something to soak up the beer after a night in the pub, this place offers it all.The staff are always friendly (be it when they first open or after a long day on their feet) and are always happy to meet your needs. If I'd have to recommend anything, just go for the fish and chips, they're beautiful! Or if you fancy a change, their chicken meat and chips is just as nice.

The Royal Fish Bar

Is this the cheapest fish and chip shop in Halesowen? It could well be as You can have what is advertised as "Medium fish, chips & mushy peas" for only £2.50, the mushy peas are optional by the way. You don't get a huge portion of chips but it is a full size piece of cod and considering that most other chippies I've been to in the area are now charging over £4 I think this is pretty good value. The chips are done in that orangey coloured batter which I like.On one occasion we were only charged £2.50 FOR THE TWO OF US but this must have been a special offer!
