Loved This Place
I used to go here many years back and got to say it was excellent. There are not many places you get a mixture of people having fun together (in terms of goths, rockers, townies, geeks, freaks and many more) but this was and hopefully still is one of them. Be it cheesy pop night, alternative music night or one of their many other themed nights, you always left a happy (and most possibly drunk) person.I never had a bad night here as the music was ace, the drinks were cheap and the set out of the place was cool. You had the main room downstairs with a big floor in the middle (good for moshing on lol). Around the top of the room were loads of seats for you to chill and then out the back upstairs was another room with lots more seats and floor space. If I remember right, there was a bar downstairs in the main room and another one upstairs in the back room.I had so many good nights here and wish we had a similar venue where I am now.I've been told that this place has since had a refurb and is known as something else, hope its still as good as it used to be.

What a great venue. I used to go here whilst a student and it had a really good night on a Thursday. It did have a bad reputation over the weekend a few years back but it has changed now and been reopened as The kasbah. They have many great live bands there and the decor has improved 1000%. I remember when it was a bit dirty, but that was just the way it was a few years ago. Upstairs they have a different room where there is place to sit and chill out with a beer. There is a student night nowadays on a Monday when they have stupidly cheap drinks as well.
