shere rubbish from start to stomach pain
poor poor food watery sauce. Could do better at home! The restaurant itself could do with a clean or at least a little sprucing up. Eg seat covers are filthy. very disappointing.

Fast Food Indian Restaurant... Not Good.
I believe this is first 'fast food' Indian restaurant I have been too... it wasn't nice at all.Firstly they don't sell alcohol... not a big issue, but the guys weren't happy!The service, although the waiters/waitresses were very quiet, was fine. They were fairly attentive but perhaps needed to speak up a bit...The food came out in 5 minutes... A little too quick for my liking seeings as the restaurant was very busy! My Chicken Balti was tasty but had been overloaded with Jalapeno peppers. They perhaps need to go easy on those. My Kema naan was the weirdest Kema I've ever eaten! Not very nice.My boyfriend and his friend had Chicken Tikka which tasted just like Tomato soup. I honestly wouldn't be suprised if it was Tomato soup. We love curries... and we will never ever eat at this restaurant again. I felt like we were in the McDonalds of Indian Restaurants.

absoloutly horrible!!!!!!
me and three friends went there as a treat as we live in tamworth, and we were met with vile food and a snotty manager!starters = mine was nice the other three cant be discribed, vile!main = my friend ordered tikka masala an tasted like tomatoe soup, other friend had bhuna which was too hot for any of us to eat, i had balti and it was just wierd tastin, we order curry on a regular basis at least once a week an i love it, never really had a bad one but after that experience i will stick to what i no an never go there again!!the manager was called and he said im sorry madam but we cater for asian people, now i have never been called a racist or ever been racist an to be honest i felt like i wasnt wanted! im not letting this go shit food is shit food regardless of colour! thanks for the great evening shere khan!

Absoloutly Beautiful
I have been there quite a few times and loved it every time....the staff are great...maybe sumthimes too nice as they stand closely waitin to be asked for something but surely thats nothing to complain about. The toilets r ever so refreshing and clean...they have variety of food on the menu and its on reasonable prices as this is quality food..I am not asian but I love the food..and wud recommend it to anyone who wants to have a great experience at a fine restaurant...people who complain are simply ignorent and judgemental but we all have the right to our own opinion and I respect..Im not usually someone who likes to compliment or be too nice just being honest now...Im just very passionate about good food and no im not fat which is hard to believe lol

lovely experience
Hi,Visited shere khan quite a few time, the first time was uncomfortable just wanted desserts but we were welcome, the second time had to watch a quick movie and just wanted a small bite but the menu said 6 pounds mimimum per head, but we said to the waiter since we are in a hurry can we just have snack, he said why not !!!!we were served our bill was like 8 pounds for the three of us, the third i booked a party of 15 people and they sorted a lovely menu for me we all enjoyed and had a great time out there the staff is really helpful.Food was great compared to other asian restaurants and the prices are far much better than Shimla Pinks where we used to have most of our office get together Thier lunch menus are at a amazing price £5.95 Granteed quick service and good food Try it believe me you will not regret.

STOMACH PAIN VOMIT ND MORE!!!!
me and my freind went all the way from london to birmingham to have a good time we met up with my other friend who lives in birmingham, she convinced me and my freind to go to star city and eat at shere khan.as we walked in the workers were staring at us like we we aliens from outa space!we sat at a table and a waiter asked us wat we wanted to eat we told dem wat we wantedthe foor came around 20 minutes.it was a cold nd had some kind of yellowy yougart in it.at first it was ok but when we started eating it had no taste at allit tasted like plastic .we didnt finish the food and yes the managers are very cold hearted.this resturant dosnt make you feel comftable.its cost a bomb lolthe prices wer not ryt for the food!!!!im never going there ever againthe next day my freind done vomit and i had stomach pains through out the day and my other freind was feeling the same too!!if i was a kid i would have died of the pain the food was disgusting, the waiters were realy rudeonly one waiter was nice but he looked like a 19 year old and he was sweet to us but the rest were giving us dirty looks!!!i hate this resturant!!!

Shere Khan was ok for me
Have been here 3 times in total, as a couple and with friends. Generally a lively place, seems very popular with people ordering take out food as well as loads of families eating in. Nice atmosphere, crowded tables,but it kind of adds to the atmosphere. We ordered food just before watching a movie and asked for it tobe as quick as possible - came in less than ten minutes - which was impressive as they were very busy. Food was nice and hot (warm to the touch, not too chilly!), portion sizes could have been a bit bigger, and presentation was good. Service was a bit hit and miss, generally ok, but not overaly attentive and we got no sweets at the end. Prices were ok, reasonable given that they are in Star City, but as a halal venue they seem to be raking it in. Worth a visit if you're in the mood for a curry.

My Hell at Shere Khan
I recently took my wife down to star city for a meal. We decided to go to Shere Khan as it was Halal food or so we thought.I started with a cup of coffee and was given a funny looking water and a jug full of solid stale milk that was like cheese. This put me off the restaurant but thought i would give them the benefit of the doubt as this could have been a mistake. We went on to order a chicken saag and a chicken curry with a sweet naan.The food arrived some 15 minutes later and we eat the food. About 10 minutes passed when i had a bad stomach cramp and couldnt move. After this i went straight home and was sick and had a headache that knocked me out. The next day i asked my wife if she was ok and in the morning she said yes but by the middle of the day she was sick and had to leave work and go home with stomach cramp.I knew that the food was bad at this restaurant and if i was a child it would have probarbly killed me.I advice people sincerley from my heart that if you going to spend your money on Halal food, ensure it dosent kill you and the people behind the kitchen are compitent in not cutting corners to save money at the risk of killing you or one of your family.

Charged more then the menu price
This restaurant charged more then the menu price, because "they had not updated their menu cards" and the owner was very rude and cold, after I complained. He misbehaved upon requesting compensation and did not only refuse me to charge the menu price, but told me that theres nothing I could do about it, and he would not return my money back.DO NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT AS THE MANAGEMENT IS VERY COLD AND RUDE.
