Wild Animals in the heart of Birmingham!

I've loved this place since I was tiny! The Nature Centre is a little known wonder at the back of Cannon Hill Park. Over the years the emphasis has changed from displaying British wildlife to now endangered wildlife and animals from all over the world. They really do make the most of their space offering similar exhibits to several zoos including Red Panda, Lemur, Lynx, Otters, Porcupine and Meerkat but they also have lesser seen rare animals including Beever, Mouflon, Wildcat and much more. The ammenities are fair with reasonably but not great food but there are plenty of picnic tables for you to bring your own food if you choose. Admission is great value with so much to see and do but check the website for their opening times and costs as it does vary throughout the year.
