Brilliant
We spent a pre christmas evening on board with 6 seated at the Captains table. Everything was good, expected a draughty cold event but we were kept cosy and comfortable. Great food which just kept coming to the extent of audible groans on seeing course No 5 being brought to the table. Cannot fault them...recommend you visit and enjoy a unique outing.....

Something a bit different
What a fab idea, a really special night out with great food and really friendly staff. I enjoyed seeing parts of Birmingham I'd never seen before and hearing about some of the history of the area

Valentines Day
I surprised my girlfriend on valentines day with dinner and a cruise around Birmingham. The setting was just perfect for a romantic evening, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the areas we went through, the views were excellent and it's so smooth you barely notice you're moving. The food was incredible for any kitchen let alone from one on a barge, the choices were varied, each course was well presented, cooked to perfection and tasted heavenly. I couldn't think of a better way to have spent valentines day.

Birthday cruise.28 March2009
Just wanted to say how much myself and my 21 guests enjoyed our 3 hour cruise and buffet last Saturday, planned for a special Birthday. The plentiful buffet looked enticing and appetising and we enjoyed a variety of meats, fish, salad and vegetarian options. Service for drinks from the bar was good. Decorations and flowers on the boat made the day special. We enjoyed the leisurely trip on the canal up to Selly Oak away from it all. It was also interesting to be looking at evidence of Birmingham's industrial heritage on the way. We are probably biased because of having enjoyed several holidays on narrowboats over the years but we thought it was well worth the money,
