Tucked into the corner of Warwick's Market Square, The Rose and Crown is a buzzy gastro-pub which has attracted local and national acclaim for its lively atmosphere, ethical principles and gutsy seasonal menu. Traditional pub favourites jostle with more refined modern European cuisine, with smaller or simplified portions available for children. The wine list is concise and changes regularly. Private dining for up to 20 guests.
The Rose and Crown is a well known historical pub and restaurant set in a beautiful building just behind Warwick's main square. It is very popular and both the restaurant and pub get very busy during lunch times and in the evenings. They serve a variety of traditional and modern pub food which is very high quality. When I visited I had sausages and mash with onion gravy and it was delicious. They also have a good choice of desserts and different wines. It is fairly expensive so is probably not somewhere to eat regularly but is worth visiting for a treat.
