A proper country pub
On the very northern edge of the Cotswolds,a tiny pub in a tiny typically English village, the Cottage Tavern has a great selection of ales from local microbreweries as well as all the well known brands. Try the beer from the local Hook Norton brewery and cider from Westons. They have great food at very reasonable prices, and a lovely little outdoor area popular with dog walkers.This is my local and we couldn't be luckier. The landlord is raally friendly as are all the bar staff - I just can't recommend it highly enough.
