One of Pizza Express's best...

One of the better Pizza Express restaurants I have been to, the location is fantastic. It is situated in the centre of Leamington Spa, on a street corner, seconds from the Leamington Pump Rooms and the park and gardens, with all the High Street shopping in the other direction. The kitchen area, like most Pizza Express restaurants, is open plan so you can watch your food being made if you so wish. The staff are polite and extremely helpful - when I went with a table of eight we were constantly asking for more pots of condiments! The food in general tastes good and is served swiftly, with the usual panache that I have come to expect from this chain.

The Pizza Express in Leamington Spa is in a beautiful Regency building on the corner at the bottom of the parade. Inside it is furnished in a modern and bright style and it is nice to eat and look out of the window at everyone walking by. I have been to the restaurant several times and the service has always been good and friendly. The menu has a variety of pizza and pasta dishes and salads which have the traditional pizza express salad dressing on them. I have often managed to get vouchers off the internet for buy on get one free meals which makes it very good value and it is a good place to come and eat early in the evening before going to the cinema.

Best pizza around

Pizza Express food is great - if you like pizzas - particularly ones which depart from the 'standard'range of pizzas generally on offer in similar restaurants. Choose from a variety of different pizza bases and styles - and look out for the regular new additions. They also do a limited pasta range and a variety of great salads. Overall a good menu (including starters, side dishes and desserts) but predominantly pizza....hence the name! Puds are to die for. My favourite is the Caffe Reale - 'Baby figs in a cinnamon and white wine spiced syrup with a dollop of mascarpone and served with a standard coffee of your choice' - a tiny bit of sweetness to finish off with plus a coffee. The location is good - at the bottom of the Parade, and the restaurant is small enough to have a cosy feel about it.

Better than Pizza Hut!

This is a sophisticated and funky pizza restaurant offering a good choice of starters, salads and pasta too. The pizzas are really good much more "authentic italian" than many other high st places. Inside has a relaxed atmosphere and the upstairs is light and airy with beautiful original artwork on the walls. Downstairs is bit more dark and cosy which is quite nice and intimate if a couple. We've always received very good service there, staff are friendly and attentive. Flexible and fun for taking large groups too also... However you do have to pay for onstreet parking now nearby. This is not really very child friendly but then you do have Pizza Hut just a short walk away!
