I changed from reds to come here on recommendation from my fiance'. Doug is brilliant, good banter and friendly. Rest of the staff seem nice as well. Been a regular for two years now and never had a bad hair cut. Steve

Love Fagans, been going there for 15 years. Decent prices and quality stylists, I've never had a bad haircut/colour there. I don't even live in Sunderland any more but still travel there to visit Fagans! Rob and Doug are great, very experienced, but the younger girls such as Michelle and Amanda are excellent too.

Come on people, most of the worlds finest hairstylists are Men and yes older/mature , you see they have more experience , rinses? ( toners you know the ones all the young girls are having the nice blue rinse colour) wet shave's does anyone realise how difficult it is to do , i,v been a regular for years and all the staff are brilliant especially my stylist ANDY top marks everyone at fagans one of Sunderlands oldest established salons keep up the good work

I agree with the first reveiw the female staff are brilliant very friendly and excellent hairdressers. I think the old male hairdressers should hang up their apron and leave the young ones to it, or stick to rinses and wet shaves.

5 stars for Amanda. Excellent colourist - gets it spot on and always gives a brilliant service. I find some of the men in there quite rude and they're not good to other people's customers. I've also seen them be really impolite to people who ask if they have a spare appointment. I've also been ushered to the till by one of them in case I scarper, despite being a regular. Need to get over their camp selves. Wouldn't let any of them near my hair. Arrogant fools. Stick to the old ladies fellas.

I went to Fagans as it has a city centre position so is very easy to get to. I go regularly and the service is always excellent, the staff are pleasant and courteous.
