I've always quite liked the bars near the station although could never love them on Saturday night due to high proportion of rah students/wag wannabes who frequent the places, on Saturday though we paid a visit to perdu which is down by station, not got much to say on the place other than its how you would expect, not cheap and a bit pretentious, doubt ill be going any time soon as I think im getting too old for all the nonsense that accompanies these kind of places, its far from the worst place ive been in Newcastle though I must say, though not sure how much of a compliment that is
