Amici is a very popular and well known Italian restaurant in the area.I generally go here for a quick dinner after work rather than a special occassion, though for large groups it would be ideal. I wouldn't say it was the best place for a romantic meal, it is always busy and quite noisy. On the downside, the tables are quite close together and it can be a struggle to get to and from your table. Parking can also be a bit problematic. The staff are fine, not overly friendly but service is normally quick and efficient. The food is tasty, and excellent value for money.I would definately recommend that you book ahead. During the week before 7pm the specials are on and there is usually a bit of a wait if you haven't reserved a table.

I love this place! Super, quick service and great Italian food. I had driven past it for years thinking it looked 'nice' but was so surprised by the interior. The atmosphere was buzzing and it is really family-friendly. The early evening offers are fantastic. As a family of three we can easily eat 2 courses with drinks for around £25. Very popular for birthdays as the whole restaurant stops for the birthday song - although my 4-year old thinks it's a bit loud! I would recommend booking for the early evening deals even through the week as it always seems busy. Half pizza/pasta deal is very good value.

Just recently got a takeaway menu through the door and I tried it but it was horrible, very dry and tastless, we had pizza and pasta not nice. Been inside many times over the years and find it reasonable for family meals, and meals with my partner. I do like the chips and potato skins with garlic dip. The staff are ok, maybe a bit slow. The price is good especially if you make it before 7pm as its cheaper. The half pasta and pizza are nice too. The decor is bright and airy as some Italians can be dark and secluded. Don't get a takeaway but eating inside is fine if you like British Italain food.

Friendly atmosphere. Children welcome, excellent food. Service very friendly and helpful. Don't have to book to get in but sometimes useful when busy. Price wise very good.
