Cormack Tree Care Ltd are based in West End near Woking in Surrey, and are specialist arboricultural contractors operating in the local area, throughout most of London and the South East. We are highly experienced in all aspects of tree care and tree surgery from the dismantling and felling of large dangerous trees and the subsequent stump removal, to the precise pruning and shaping of your large specimen trees, as well as the smaller ornamental trees. Every care is taken to protect the surrounding landscape from the falling branches by using the latest climbing and lowering techniques. All green waste that is produced during the course of our work, is taken back to the depot where it is recycled by being mulched further and screened, to be used as an organic soil improver or mulch. The woodchip generated from our work is stockpiled at the depot and transported to biomass-burning power stations like Slough Heat & Power. We are an established company with over 25 years of experience. The proprietor of the company, Alastair Cormack, has a National Diploma in Arboriculture, and trained at the reknowned Merrist Wood College near Guildford. Alastair's team arrived at the time they said to take the tops off a number of conifers in our garden. These were really nice lads who worked hard, tidied as they went and were extremely polite and accommodating. They even chipped our old Christmas tree. I'd recommend them to anyone with tree work. Alastair and the team are excellent. Efficiently trimmed back two trees in a small back garden and removed every last bit of debris - if it wasn't for the change in the trees you wouldn't know they had been there. I would highly recommend them.

Alastair and his team did an absolutely fantastic job trimming two huge trees in my back garden, and tidying a few others. These have grown out of proportion and untended for many years, and I was thoroughly impressed with the way the job was carried out, and the garden cleaned up afterwards. I will definitely use them again!

Alastair and his team have been tending to my tree-filled garden now since 2005 and I would not use anybody else. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their prices are competitive, they arrive on time, are friendly and courteous, do a great job, and clear up immaculately when they have finished. My neighbours on both sides now also use them as they have been so impressed with their work.

Could not have ásked for better. They took down a large cedar which was very close to and overhanging our house on two sides. Arrived promptly at 8.30 and by 17.00 the tree was gone and all debris removed. Very competitive quote.

I was recommended to Alastair by a colleague at work. We have about 5 large Oak trees with preservation orders and a series of other trees. He gave us a thorough evaluation of the recommended work. He organised local council permission which was all approved and then completed the work whilst we were on holiday. When we got back we were completely impressed by the work. The garden was left tidy with the chips and logs we requested. The cost was very favourable for the amount of work that we required. Others had quoted similar amounts for much less work. I would highly recommend this company, it was a completely professional job.

We have used the Alastair's team several times, as do several people in the street. We are always impressed by their knowledge, friendliness and careful work. They prune our eucalpytus regularly and have recently felled a large, diseased mimosa tree (after gaining council approval on our behalf). All the debris was cleared and the ground swept. I would recommend them highly.

This firm has done some work for us on a previous occasion, so I did not hesitate to get them back to do a job recently. They assessed what was needed and put in for permission to the local council (as the tree has a preservation order). This was much appreciated. They are experts and the result of their morning's hard work was impressive. They also cleared the site so well you would not have known they had been. The cost of the work was extremely reasonable and our neighbours were very impressed too.
